Marie Cleary-Fishman joined IHA in November 2010 as director of performance improvement.

This seasoned professional, with more than 20 years of experience in strategic development and management, is responsible for the Quality Care Institute’s CLABSI and CAUTI collaboratives  along with involvement in the Midwest Alliance for Patient Safety.

Previously, Cleary-Fishman spent 32 years at Resurrection Health Care in a variety of positions with progressively increasing responsibilities.  Most recently, she was senior vice president, performance distinction, responsible for performance improvement and clinical distinction for the entire health care system.

Cleary-Fishman has a Master of Business Administration from North Park University, Chicago, and a Master of Science in Nursing Education from DePaul University, Chicago. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from North Park College, Chicago. Cleary-Fishman is a licensed Registered Nurse.
